Thomas Meeks has served as a commissioner since 2019. Thomas was sworn in as Commissioner over Streets, Cemetery and Parks in 2019. Thomas was sworn in as Commissioner over Water and Sewer in 2023. Thomas has also served 8 years as Mayor from 2003 to 2011.
