  • Wabash Valley College (WVC) offers workforce training to companies in a variety of fields as well specialized programs tailored to the needs of the employer.  WVC utilizes training funds provided by the State of Illinois and have successful ongoing training programs with many of the large manufacturing employers in the area.

  •  Wabash General Hospital staffs 17 doctors and provides 24-hour emergency room care with doctors on staff and evening clinic hours. WGH is accredited by JCAHO.

  • Mt. Carmel Ambulance Service:  Offers Intermediate Life Support Services and serves the Wabash County Area based out of Mt. Carmel.

  •  Mt. Carmel was founded in 1815. Much of the original beauty can still be found on Cherry Street with the brick streets and stately homes of the 1800’s and early 1900’s.
